Can eBricks be used outside?

eBricks can be used outside with no problems. The main threat to a brick outside is frost. eBricks have been freeze/thaw frost tested to BS EN 772-22 and classed as 'Suitable for conditions of extreme exposure'. You will need to use a Cement based adhesive suitable for external use such as Quickfix or Rapidflex.

Can eBricks be used near direct heat, for example a fireplace chamber.

eBricks are perfect for use in this situation. They are 100% inflammable. You will however need to use a heat proof adhesive such as Quickfix or Rapidflex.

Can eBricks be used in a Kitchen or Bathroom?

For use in these rooms it is recommended that eBricks are sealed with a brick/stone sealer.

Can I stick eBricks to the wall with Sand & Cement?

No, Sand & Cement is not sticky enough to be used as a tile adhesive. You can use Sand & Cement to point the brick tiles.

How can I cut eBricks?

The best method for cutting eBricks is with an electric, wet tile cutter. Please make sure the blade can cut about 25mm deep or you will have to cut each tile twice!

Can I stick eBricks to plasterboard or fresh plaster?

This is fine, although as will all porous surfaces we would recommend sealing the wall with a watered down PVA solution.

Do eBricks come in ready made panels?

eBricks are supplied as loose tiles, 30 per box for flat tiles and 10 per box for corners. If you are looking for a ready made panel please take a look at http://www.panespol.co.uk.
